I know I just posted a more recent Stalley video but while scouring my google reader, most specifically the Creative Control vimeo feed I stumbled upon this. Slapp was premiered 1/26 on MTVJams and is directed by Creative Control. This is the type of music that makes me admire artists like Stalley, that old soul/funk vibe infused with trill and true to life lyrics.

Stalley drops Lincoln Way Heights on February 8th presented by MISHKA. I can’t front like I know too much about Stalley, but I’ve been a fan of the music since I first heard his MadStalley mixtape. This video’s short and sweet and seems at it serves as sort of an intro to the mixtape itself.
